Secret Santa Program
Christmas can be a sad and lonely time for children in out-of-home care. Many are away from their families, have faced disappointment, and often have little hope that things will change. By fulfilling one small wish for Christmas, you can give these children a powerful message of love and hope.
The Secret Santa philosophy is simple: for once, children should be able to ask for what they want, no matter how big or small, and receive exactly what they wished for.
Our elves collect wish lists from children in foster care. Community members or Fostering Futures staff then shop to make sure every list is filled. A week before Christmas, gifts are delivered so that Christmas morning brings joy and warmth to each child’s heart. In 2024, the program brought over 800 smiles on Christmas morning!
